I have stayed now twice at Hotel Esterea and will continue to it is a beautifuly run hotel with helpful and accomodating staff absolute worth every penny, sorry cent. |

very good location. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Hotel itself was nicely decorated & kept very clean slight gap between the door & the floor which meant that we noise from the corridor was very loud, esp. in the morning when people were coming to & from thier rooms. |

Very beautiful, clean and large (Amsterdam-wise) room, great picturesque view from the windows (to the channel, as requested), many pleasant things that are complimentary (selection of tea and coffee, cookies, fruit), very cozy overall. Nearly ideal cleanliness, friendly staff. Windows and walls are thin - street and side-room's sounds are notable, and it is also a little chilly. The bed is romantic but would better also be more robust... The computer and printer in lobby is nearly useless as it can only allow prepaid access also to internet. Wifi is usable, but: for each laptop you need separate access card, and active noon-noon, I'd expect 24hrs for that price |

Amazing location on a lovely canal. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, and professional but without being snooty! Our room was perfect, superb decor. Free hot drinks and treats were a great bonus and very welcome when we returning to the hotel after a busy day! Will stay here again for definite. The hotel is an older building, so the thin walls etc make it a little noisy, and our room was on the 1st floor right above the front door, so after 11pm it would bang quite loudly. However, this didn't spoil our stay at all. |

Location was excellent. I have stayed in many Amsterdam hotels and this is one of the best. There was a small problem with our room (extractor fan did not turn off) and the receptionist offered me another room immediately. The beds were extremely comfortable and free tea/coffee/chocolate was available next to the bar. Highly recommended. |
