Buses, taxis and trains are also within walking distance (200 metres) and provide a 24-hour connection to the city centre of Amsterdam (15 minutes by a direct train). This makes citizenM the affordable alternative for expensive hotels in the city of Amsterdam.

Parking and rental cars are within walking distance as well (200 metres).

This is an extraordinary hotel: different, state-of-the-art, fun to be in. The 24-hours bar service is great. Free internet. Self check-in and check-out. Real modern age!

Taking a shower is a chilling experience: have to get in, close the doors, and get half a heart attack before you get warm water....good for your blood circulation, but annoying.

Design, free Wi-Fi, free movies, satellite TV, helpful staff, etc...

Breakfast = a muffin, a coffee and a small box with pineapple = 10€ !!!! They should have breakfast combos or something.

Liked the minimalist look and use, cleanliness. Proximity to airport.

Certain things hard to figure out (shower), so the manual for the room shoudl not be as minimalist as it was. Also, I would like to have a slighlty larger desk to work on.

Friendly staff (but few, if you have a problem you need to wait a while until someone answers your call), good bar, comfortable big bed, good movie selection

the in-room music system linked to the lcd screen can get on your nerves as it turns itself on too often - I pulled the power plug in the end

It was close to the airport and accessible via a covered walk which was well signed

The rooms are like animal cages, there is no space, no flat surface to put anything near the washbasin, the icons on the universal remote are too small to read
