Designed in a Neo-Baroque style by Gabriel Davioud, a 19th century architect who worked with Baron Haussmann and whose most notable works include the Fontaine Saint-Michel, the Théâtre de la Ville, the Théâtre du Châtelet and the former Palais du Trocadéro, the hotel is regarded as one of the architectural masterpieces of its time.

La ubicació fantàstica, la Place République està molt be, te de tot...molts bars i restaurants i el millor es que el metro està a 50 metres del hotel. Tot just marxàvem van començar a reformar el bar i restaurant del hotel, el projecte es veia molt be.

The room was comfortable and as expected of an international hotel. Good variety of restaurants around the area including a few Asian restaurants. Also good that the metro station is just in front of the hotel.

The hotel should have informed potential customers about their renovation works where the whole entrance was closed. Quite disruptive and the small reception area was unable to deal with the many people coming and going. Front desk staff were not friendly at all and at times kept customers waiting for quite a while.

check in service poor and room service is also bad. Maybe we can´t speak French language. I can´t believe in 4 star hotel can´t speak English

This was a lovely hotel and our room was really nice - a decent size and recently decorated. The location is ideal for the Eurostar - only a couple of stops on the metro (although we didn't know this and walked there when we arrived) The metro is right outside and only a few stops to the city. We have already recommended this hotel to friends - great weekend!
